Thie Gold

On a bit of a whim in January of this year, I entered a competition called Color, Chroma and Contrast. I entered two paintings, the only two which are half ready to be viewed. One was chosen to be part of a month long exhibition at TAG art gallery in Los Angeles. Since I have never shared my art so publicly, it was a first experience for me. Really, I have only ever shared my art with close friends and family. It was a fun and wonderful experience to see my work hanging next

1 Inspiration: Ribbon came to be after years of obsessing over the ways that ribbons bend. The gradients that are created as the from changes and light reflects from the surfaces of the ribbon.
